The Chedi El Gouna Hotel is looking for a Steward (Hygiene Associate) responsible for all outlets and banquets provided with clean operating equipment for use in the respective areas. To maintain the organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of all back-of-house Food & Beverage areas.
Key Responsibilities
Ensures that all back-of-the-house areas are clean (floors, tiles, ceiling)
Follows strict guidelines when using chemicals
Treats all dishes gently to prevent breakage
Ensures only clean dishes are distributed
Ensures garbage area is clean at all times
Is flexible in the working area
Strictly follows hygiene and sanitation standards
Keeps workstation clean and tidy at all times
Cleans all kitchen equipment
Pot and dishwashing
Storing of chinaware and glass
Clears all rubbish and garbage bins
Respond to changes in the departmental function as dictated by the industry or hotel company.
Qualifications
Secondary School certificate
No experience required, but preferably apprentice or internship in a hotel
