The Chedi El Gouna is looking for a Minibar Attendant responsible for taking care of all par stock, refreshments, general cleaning, re-setting up the rooms, technical check and cashiering detail as well as guest service, and responsible for minibar achievement and exceeding guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Assures that all minibar units are stocked as per Company standards and checklists.
Checks all the rooms daily for minibar consumption and fills the minibar voucher accordingly.
Checks the rooms which are due out early in the morning.
Forwards the minibar vouchers to the front desk.
Cooperates with Housekeeping and Engineering.
Takes information of the guests who have a special request and informs the Room Service Manager accordingly.
Ensures that all minibar units are clean and working.
Ensures that the minibar trolleys and storerooms are clean and properly stocked as pars.
Requisitions the minibar items from the stores as per recorded daily consumption.
Responsible for checking the expiry dates of the products.
Keeps healthy communication with the cost control.
Ensures that all complaints are personally dealt with and reported to Room Service Manager in a timely manner.
Checks all the minibar vouchers for accuracy.
Acts in accordance with policies and procedures for security, health, fire, and hygiene matters.
Respects guests' privacy and confidentiality.
Uses master keys as policies and procedures.
Is alert all the time that unrelated personnel should not be dealing with minibar trolleys.
Delivers “Lost & Found ” properties directly to Housekeeping Department.
Informs Room Service Manager and Security if there is anything unusual, suspicious or problematic cases.
Records daily posted minibar vouchers against consumption and delivered voucher value to monitor the diff. in order to find specific reasons on time.
Qualifications
Minimum High School Graduate
Minimum 3 years similar position in the hospitality industry
