ICONIC DESTINATIONS

Designed by the one and only art savvy Amr Khalil, La Maison Bleue is by far one of the town’s most beautiful icons. A levantine fantasy from head to toe, the celeste blue hues studded with hand-carved floral details create an exterior inspired by its natural setting and the artistic vision of its curator designer. Indoors, each piece of furniture and every décor trinket tells a unique story rich in history and elegance. This boutique hotel has hosted many VIP weddings and intimate gatherings, so get ready to glow like a star once that camera button goes ‘click’!

Further in the heart of El Gouna, the renovated Ali Pasha courtyard is an open-air dream. The beloved hotel at Abu Tig Marina features the finest interpretations of Egyptian architecture and design. From fresh mashrabeya shutters, lush bamboo and sago palms, and a gorgeous, checkered mosaic fountain as a centrepiece, capture a taste of heritage and style along your photo trail.

The newest tribute to contemporary translations of Egyptian heritage and design mastery, can be seen at the El Gouna Conference and Cultural Centre. If you’re even slightly active on social media, you will already have cooed over celebrities posing under the lotus inspired arches. The architecture is nothing short of splendid and it offers such a variety of incomparable shots. The magnificent reflections across the water weaving between the building is as captivating in daylight as it is at night. The GCC has become the most sought-after venue for hosting events and from the very first visit, you’ll see exactly why.
