Orascom Hotels Management is looking for a Central Reservation Agent to be responsible for making online and offline reservations with customers.

• Processes reservations by e-mail, telephone, or extra net.
• Processes reservations from Travel Agents, Companies, OTA’s, Sales Office or other hotel departments.
• Completely aware of the guarantee & cancellation policy of each period.
• Knows how to code each reservation.
• Determines room rates and room types based on the hotel’s selling strategy.
• Maintains reservation records for arrivals and communicates it to Front Office.
• Ensures the accuracy of the data input in the PMS.
• Be a presentable first impression over the phone and leads the call according to company standards.
• Sends accurate room confirmations as per standards.
• Processes cancellations and modifications and relays this information to all related departments.
• Helps develop room occupancy forecasts.
• Follows up in on payment due dates to guarantee, cancel or amend the reservation.
• Replies to rate and availability inquiries for individual guests.
• Always maintains a neat clean appearance and work area.
• Able to upsell room types and cross sell hotels.
• Actively promote hotel facilities.

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a strong command of English in both.
• Learn new technology with ease.
• Be detail orientated and take pride in transferring this focus on details to their work in the PMS and all guest correspondence.
• Able to take a customer focused decision, whilst remaining cognizant of all sales and revenue management principles.

• Must possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) Opera PMS and be fluent in Internet Explorer
