Training and capacity building are key efforts we make to ensure only the best teams prepare your meals. In March, our chefs participated in a series of training sessions focusing on quality and harvesting creativity. Also, we’re proudly staffed by many talented graduates of El Gouna’s German Hotel School across top kitchens such as Casa Cook’s.

Our star chefs have worked for months composing incredible menus and crafting creative new dishes at your favourite restaurants because quality food always aims to keep you excited. Enjoy browsing through new drinks and dishes and taste freshly introduced daring flavours from reimagined menus at Tandoor, the Marina Steakhouse, Casa Cook’s Kitchen and Cook’s Club’s La Cantina, including restaurants in Downtown and Kafr Hotels.

Last April, Veronique Lusci and her talented team at Dawar El Omda and Sultan Bey tasted and selected new dishes presenting Egyptian cuisine at its finest. When it comes to delicious authenticity Veronique’s motto is “quality is having a positive attitude, it comes from the heart. Quality is a way of life”.

Our restaurants recommend an excitingly fresh selection of specials that showcase the finest local ingredients. Last spring, we collaborated with many local farms and suppliers offering premium ingredients to elevate each and every dish across El Gouna hotel restaurants. We get delicious heirloom tomatoes, fresh vegetables and fruits from the Red Sea’s very own hydroponic farm- O’Roots. We also serve the finest unique meat cuts from the one and only DELIZIO, while the tantalising Domaine Natroun olive oil from Wadi Food and Akka’s exquisite balsamic vinegar (made from the absolute best pomegranates right here from Upper Egypt) bring a whole new level of sophistication to your dressing.

Sam Ayman is a Rowayat award winning writer, academic consultant and one very proud mama bear. In 2015 she moved to El Gouna, inspired by its incomparable charm and unique identity. Besides raising her little Gounie Roman Pharaoh, Sam enjoys messing up her kitchen and pretending to workout. After years of publishing short works and stories, her debut novel The King's Debt was released in 2019. The gripping thriller explores social dynamics and gender issues through several feminist perspectives.
