Mövenpick Resort & Spa El Gouna,is upgrading its facilities
The ongoing renovations at the Mövenpick Resort & Spa El Gouna in Egypt are ensuring that the popular Red Sea resort will continue to meet the demands of today’s ‘savvy’ travelers.
Work started in June 2009, with the first phase being the complete renovation of the Palavrion Restaurant, the Resort’s main dining outlet. The restaurant was rebuilt from scratch and was also extended so the outside veranda can be used all year round.
Within the room renovation phases, over 365 rooms and suites have been completed.
The makeover of the rooms includes a modern décor with a new room set up with the bed centred in the middle of the room facing the windows. Guests can now enjoy the fabulous views, for which the hotel is well known, right from their bed when waking up in the morning and guests are commenting that the rooms can be compared very favourably with those of the top luxury hotel brands.
Further upgrading includes the complete renovation of the Squash court, which will offer now international competition standard.
